Dr. Vrunda Karanjgaokar
Consultant Gynaecologist, Gynaecological Oncologist,
Colposcopist and Robotic Surgeon with 28 years of experience.
Having qualified from Grant Medical College, Mumbai in 1995, I completed postgraduate training (MD) from Bombay Hospital in 1998. I worked at Tata Memorial Hospital in Gynaecological Oncology Department and completed a Fellowship in Gynaecological Endoscopy at Bombay Academy for Minimally Invasive Surgery (BEAMS), before moving to UK in 2001 for further training in my areas of interest namely: Complex General Gynaecology, Gynaecological Oncology, Preventive Oncology and Minimal Access Surgery.
While in the UK, I completed the five- year Specialist Training Programme in London and a two and a half year Fellowship in Gynaecological Oncology at Cancer Centre in Wolverhampton and acquired accreditations in Gynaecological Oncology, Colposcopy and Gynaecological Ultrasound.
I was a Consultant in the National Health Service, UK before returning to Mumbai in 2011.
I have received extensive training from some of the world’s leading surgeons in India and the UK and have treated more than a thousand patients with cancers and other gynaecological conditions.
I completed Robotic Surgical Training Programme in 2016 and I am doing Robotic Surgeries such as Hysterectomy.
I have published in peer reviewed journals internationally on endometriosis, gyn oncology and minimal access surgery.
I am affiliated with Raheja, Gleneagles, Masina, Breach Candy, Surya, Sushrut, Apollo Spectra Hospital with my Private Consulting Rooms at Shivaji Park.

- Other Locations: Available by prior appointment from Monday to Saturday.
